The Society of Young Philanthropists fourth annual
Gala, "Beyond Borders," hosted over 400 young
philanthropists at The Paley Center for Media in Beverly
Hills.
Proceeds benefited Doctors Without Borders Cyclone
Nargis relief efforts and Engineers Without Borders
construction of a preschool in rural Thailand.
This year's Gala theme highlighted the ways in
which young professionals can partner with communities
worldwide to improve daily quality of life and
lay foundations for international cooperation.
The Society of Young Philanthropists is a Beverly Hills
based, non-profit organization that works to promote
the involvement of young professionals in philanthropy.
Over the past three years SYP has risen over $200,000
for various charities and hosted over three thousand
young professionals at charitable events. read

we seek to further our goal of providing young professionals
with a diverse collection of opportunities to participate
in philanthropy. As the site expands, we will be creating
