On Oct 14, 2009 SYP had their 2nd Poker Event. Over
300 guests came out and supported the Widows, Orphans
& Disabled Firemen's Fund. The event was held at the
Aqua Lounge in Beverly Hills and sipped on champagne
donated by Pink Dot. Some of the evenings sponsors included:
Wynn Las Vegas, Grey Goose, Game Source Inc., Sports
Club LA, Bvlargi and Guys and Dolls Nightclub.
In the midst of all the fires in California, SYP gave
assistance to our many firefighters and their families
who are faced with personal difficulties and tragedies.

On June 27th, 2009 SYP along with Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa
came out and helped trees for the North East Trees on
Mission St in Los Angeles. The board came out and planted
a tree on Mission St and Cesar Chavez Ave. SYP helped
in bringing nature back to the city of Los Angeles.

The 5th Annual SYP Gala was held on Saturday May 9th,
2009 at a private residents in Beverly Hills. The gala
helped raise funds and awareness on two wonderful organizations
Generation
Rescue and Save
a Child's Heart. Guests enjoyed listening to the
sounds of DJ Feli Fell, food from Olympic Collection
and specialty drinks created by Bacardi.

The Society of Young Philanthropists fourth annual Gala,
"Beyond Borders," hosted over 400 young philanthropists
at The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills. Proceeds
benefited Doctors Without Borders Cyclone Nargis relief
efforts and Engineers Without Borders construction of
a preschool in rural Thailand. This year's Gala theme
highlighted the ways in which young professionals can
partner with communities worldwide to improve daily
quality of life and lay foundations for international
cooperation.

The Society of Young Philanthropists hosted a charity art exhibition featuring
the work of new and emerging artists from Southern California and Claremont
Graduate University. $1,250 was generated from art sales and donated to
Learning for Life, an LA based program educating inner city students about
higher learning and professional career paths. Guests at the event enjoyed
an assortment of international cheeses from the Cheese Store of Beverly
Hills and an open wine bar. DJ My DJ provided music all night long.

| 2008 KICK-OFF EVENT |

The Society of Young Philanthropists hosted our first mixer of the new year
and named Life Rolls On the beneficiary of the evening. This cocktail reception,
held at Parc Hollywood, welcomed some of LA's most influential young professionals
at one of LA's most exclusive clubs and over three hundred supporters attended.
LRO Ambassadors Jesse Billauer and Xavier Horan attended the event as did
LRO Executive Director Kris Nakamura and LRO Program Director Seth Rosenzweig.
LRO received 10% of the bar proceeds from the evening.

SYP welcomed over 400 young professionals to a unique
Hollywood penthouse for an exclusive evening of drinks,
dancing, great food, and an art auction. The Gala raised
over $30,000 for The Aviva Center, a locally based organization
focused on helping underprivileged girls and Camp Kessem,
a national camp focused on helping the children of cancer
victims.

Wheels for Humanity's mission is to provide
increased self-sufficiency and mobility to people
with disabilities throughout the world. Wheels
of Humanity collect and refurbish used wheelchairs
and deliver and individually fit them to impoverished
children and adults in developing countries. SYP
volunteers helped organize parts, and refurbish
wheelchairs; as well as assist with packing, loading
and labeling the newly refurbished wheelchairs
for the children and adults waiting for them in
developing countries. SYP volunteers accomplished
20 wheelchairs. All of them were shipped to Uganda
on Feb. 15th for children that had to crawl or
be carried because of their terrible disabilities. |

Over 150 guests, including Mayor of Beverly Hills Steve
Webb, attended The Society of Young Philanthropists'
(SYP) charity POKER NIGHT on September 17, 2006 at the
Friars of Beverly Hills. The event raised at least
(exact number TBC) $5,000 for the Maple
Counseling Center, a resource for mental health
education, prevention, and intervention as well as crisis
support.
There were 80 players registered for the tournament,
with the top 8 winning prizes. Prizes included a diamond
studded watch, 2 nights at Hotel Angeleno, a Philips
Home Entertainment package, $250 at Bodega restaurant
and bar, 12 cases of Karl Strauss beer, a clay chip
poker set, and gifts and apparel from Hollywood Park
Casino. The tournament was managed by Motion Poker
Tournament.
Guests enjoyed appetizers, jazz music by The Peter Harris
Trio, cash bar and were able to mingle with a diverse
group of philanthropists, at the cross-generational
event.

600 guests attended The Society of Young Philanthropists'
(SYP) second annual gala on May 13, 2006 at Vibiana
Place in Downtown Los Angeles. The event surpassed it's
fundraising goal of $45,000 for victims of the Darfur
genocide. The evening included a fashion show featuring
fashions from Robertson Blvd. boutiques Diavolina, Horn,
Madison and Sielian's Vintage Apparel. Gift bags included
donations from Junkfood Clothing, Chocolate Sun Tanning,
Corazon Tequila, and Smashbox Cosmetics.

Aviva
Family and Children's Services is a non-profit,
multi-service agency serving the greater Los Angeles
community. Aviva provides care and treatment to abandoned,
neglected, abused and at-risk youth and their families.
Services include residential treatment, community mental
health services, family preservation, after-school care,
special education and foster family placement. We played
sports, did arts and crafts and mentored with at-risk
teens.

Beit TShuvah held its The Steps
to Recovery Gala on Sunday, January 29 at
the Beverly Hills Hilton. As a gold patron, SYP
received a table at the black tie event celebrating
the successes of their residents, the accomplishments
of their program and most importantly, their honorees
Blair Belcher, Warren Breslow, and the Skirball
Foundation. SYP raised $10,000 for the organization,
at the Society Debut last May. view

| ANGEL'S FLIGHT HOLIDAY DINNER |

Angels Flight, located in Downtown Los
Angeles, provides a temporary shelter for runaway
and at-risk teens located in the MacArthur park
area. They have an extensive program that includes
counseling, life skills training, drug prevention
education and classes. SYP donated food for the
dinner and participated in various holiday activities.
SYP and teens danced to the electric slide and
the Macarena as wells as opened Christmas Gifts. |

SYP collaborated with Children Uniting Nations
to mentor foster kids at a Dodger game. Each of
the volunteers paired up with two or three kids
and conversated and shared our experiences while
enjoying a Dodger game. |

The Philanthroshop event on Sunday, September 11th was
a great success, with over 500 people shopping for denim,
tops, knits, jewelry and other accessories. Vendors
donated 10% of their proceeds to the OneFamily Fund,
helping victims of terrorism. $6,000 total was raised
for charity, with $2,000 supporting SYP and $4,000 total
donated to OneFamily!
Our generous vendors included: Biatta Intimates, Hebrew
School Dropout, Jinous Designs, Junkfood T-Shirts, Nana
Bijou Design, Stay True Clothing, Treesje, Coffee Bean
& Tea Leaf, High end denims and knits, Joyaan, Michele
Morrow, Rapz, Tatum D, T-Bags.

In addition, cookies were sold
for a minimum donation of $1, with proceeds going
to Hurricane Katrina victims, via (drumroll) SYP
in Dallas! All of the money went to help disaster
victims who are refugees in the area therein.

SYP launched their new organization Saturday, May 14,
2005 at a private estate in Beverly Hills, raising more
than $40,000 in ticket sales (after expenses) and up
to an additional $30,000 in sponsorships and donations.
Proceeds from ticket and raffle sales were donated to
three Jewish causes related to disaster relief (IMA
Foundation), education (Magbit Foundation) and rehabilitation
(Beit T'Shuvah) in celebration of Israel's Independence
Day. Guests were able to direct their ticket donation
to any one cause or to have it split evenly among all
three.
Four-hundred and seventy-five young professionals between
21 and 40, enjoyed passed appetizers, hand-rolled sushi,
and various dinner and dessert stations courtesy of
Catering by Field, as well as an open bar.
The evening kicked off with Latin beats from The Gypsy
Boys, a Los Angeles-based group. The main bar and bungalow
area was opened with a performance by local indie-rock
band, Paramount. A DJ spun hip-hop and dance beats until
5AM. Guests went home with gift bags including, two
Paramount CDs, a "Chosen" bracelet from kewlju.com
and Roxtar designed "We Like 'Em Young" t-shirts
bearing SYP's name and URL.
